On February 2, 2024, the vibrant town of Luna, Apayao, came alive with the spirit of unity and festivity as it marked the start of the celebration of 29th Founding Anniversary of Apayao. The day was adorned with cultural splendor, camaraderie, and the anticipation of the upcoming festivities.

One of the highlights of the day was the official Sashing Ceremony, held at the same venue. Our very own representative for the Taer and Dayag ti Apayao 2024, Mr. Mark John G Ablangan and Ms.Dhesirie Jharraine T. Salisipan proudly showcased their heritage as they represent the Municipality of Pudtol. The ceremony served as a symbolic gesture, emphasizing the rich cultural diversity that contributes to the unique tapestry of Apayao.

Dayag ti Pudtol, Ms. Salisipan garnered the “Darling of the Press” award, said recognition is bestowed upon individuals who consistently capture the admiration and attention of the media. This accolade was granted to our very own Dayag ti Pudtol because she exhibit charm, charisma, and a positive rapport with the press.
